Assembled Face Frames
Face frames set the reference geometry for the entire cabinet. Stile and rail widths, opening dimensions, joint alignment, and surface flushness carry through to door fit, drawer alignment, and final appearance. South Creek Supply produces assembled face frames to each customer’s drawings and approved samples through our direct factory partnerships. We build the frame around the print rather than asking manufacturers to redesign cabinet lines around a standard frame.
OVERVIEW
A face frame that is out of square does not stay a face frame problem.
It becomes an assembly problem and then a finish problem.
South Creek Supply produces assembled face frames to each customer’s drawings and approved samples through our direct factory partnerships. We do not ask manufacturers to redesign cabinet lines around a standard frame. We build the frame around the print.

PRODUCT FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
01 What information do you need to quote assembled face frames?
To provide an accurate quote, please send your face-frame dimensions, quantities, wood species, material requirements, machining details, joinery or construction requirements, finish specifications, and any approved samples or reference drawings. If you already have an existing face-frame design, you can send the drawings or documentation for review and pricing.
02What file formats can I send for my face-frame drawings?
We can review common manufacturing and design file formats, including PDF drawings, CAD files, and other dimensioned design documentation. For the most accurate quote, please provide drawings that clearly show dimensions, materials, joinery, machining, and finish requirements. If you’re unsure which format to send, contact us and we’ll help determine what works best.
03Can face frames be produced to my exact drawings?
Yes. Face frames can be produced to your drawings, CAD files, specification sheets, or approved physical samples. Dimensions, construction details, joinery, machining requirements, wood species, and finish specifications are reviewed and confirmed before production.
04What wood species and finishes are available?
Available wood species and finish options depend on the project requirements. When requesting a quote, please specify your preferred species, grade, stain or paint color, and desired finish. If you have a specific appearance or existing cabinet to match, providing a sample or reference image can help us determine the appropriate requirements.
05What machining and construction options are available?
Machining and construction options can be tailored to the face-frame design and application. Depending on the project, this may include specific joinery, component sizing, drilling, routing, edge details, and other required machining. Please include these requirements in your drawings or quote request so they can be reviewed before production.
06What tolerances can you hold on assembled face frames?
Required tolerances depend on the dimensions, materials, construction method, and application of the face frame. We review the tolerances specified in your drawings and determine the appropriate manufacturing requirements before production. If a particular dimension or fit is critical, please identify it clearly on your drawings.
07Can you provide samples before full production?
Sample availability depends on the project and production requirements. For projects where material, finish, construction, or fit needs to be verified before a larger production run, sample or prototype options can be discussed during the quoting process.
08How do I request pricing for assembled face frames?
To request pricing, send us your drawings or specifications along with the required quantity, material or wood species, finish requirements, machining details, and any applicable delivery requirements. We’ll review the information and provide pricing based on the scope of the project. If you don’t have complete drawings yet, contact us with the information you have and we’ll help determine what is needed for an accurate quote.
